"This is so much more than a temporary shelter. I jokingly call it my battered women's boot camp. This shelter's program truly is designed to empower you! Here, I found the tools to rebuild every aspect of my life."
If you qualify for one of the Haven housing assistance programs, you must make an eligibility appointment by calling the Homeless Information Line at (434) 207-2328 first. Likewise, the HIL can make referrals to People and Congregations Engaged in Ministry (PACEM) for shelter and other partners for additional resources. Messages left on the HIL are returned within 24 to 48 hours.
